The New Faces of MCG

Jessica Kelly

Designer

Knoxville native Jessica Kelly is the newest designer at MCG. A graduate of Pellissippi State Community College, Jessica has always had an interest in design. It’s exciting to see the fresh, unique perspective Jessica will bring to our projects here at Morris Creative Group.

When she’s not at the office Monday through Friday, you can find Jessica enjoying the outdoors. Her favorite activities are hiking among the mountains of Tennessee and strolling through downtown Knoxville. Her favorite local spots are just right down the street from our office, the lively rooftops of Scruffy City Hall and Preservation Pub. Jessica’s favorite things include pizza and spending time with her cat, Stella. Her favorite software to use in the office is Adobe Illustrator.

Ultimate Goal: Vacation in either Australia or Italy (she’s already marked Hungary, Poland and France off her list).

Welcome to the team, Jessica!

Bridget Plunkett

Marketing Intern

Bridgett, also known as B, came to MCG all the way from Baltimore, Maryland. In pursuit of an advertising degree with a minor in business, she is now a senior at the University of Tennessee. She is enthusiastic and eager to start her internship at Morris Creative Group, and feels it will be the best way to gain valuable experience within the advertising industry.

If you can’t find Bridget at Hodges Library or MCG, your best bets would be to look by the nearest pool, at the Market Square Farmers’ Market, or at home watching Grey’s Anatomy. The quality of Bridget’s week is almost solely dependent on how many times she is able to eat Chipotle.

Ultimate goal: Work as a copywriter for an advertising agency, and eventually be involved in the creation of a Super Bowl commercial.

Happy to have you, Bridget!

Brock Etters

Design Intern

Brock, our newest design intern, works alongside Jessica to gain experience this summer away from school. Brock will begin his third year at Appalachian State University where he studies industrial design.

A Knoxville native, Brock’s favorite local spot is Sam and Andy’s burger joint. When he’s not in the office you can also find him outdoors. Brock is often wake-boarding on the lake, or snowboarding occasionally. Some of his favorite things include the television show Parks and Recreation and the music group Foster the People. His favorite software to use in the office is also Adobe Illustrator (must be a design thing).

Ultimate Goal: To work in the automotive industry designing cars.

Glad to have you, Brock!
