The New Faces of MCG

The New Faces of MCG

Adam Atchley

Design Intern

Graphic design intern Adam arrived at MCG from just down the road in Seymour, TN. Adam is currently tacking on a degree in graphic design at Pellissippi State to his BA in art history from the University of Tennessee.

When not at school, he’s hanging out with friends, hiking, cooking, or binge-watching Friends, which he, admittedly, has done many times. He’s a big fan of Dazzo’s pizza on Gay Street and his favorite movies are HerWilly Wonka…, and Arsenic and Old Lace. Adam’s ultimate life goals are to land a job as an Imagineer at Disney and write a successful book. He hopes to start his design career off in Knoxville and see where that takes him. He’s off to a great start here at MCG and we’re excited to have him on our team!

Fun Fact: He once tried out to be a monkey for The Lion King at Disney World.

Happy to have you, Adam!

Alex Cruz

Design Intern

Another new graphic design intern, Alex, grew up on a small Indian reservation in Cherokee, NC. He is currently pursuing a degree in graphic design at the University of Tennessee and is excited to work with MCG’s wide range of clientele.

When he isn’t with us, he’s either at home with his four kids or spending time outdoors, biking, running, or traveling. Modest Mouse is Alex’s favorite band and he’s currently into watching Marco Polo on Netflix. When dinner time rolls around, Copper Cellar’s lobster bisque and steak are his top choices. To visit as many countries as possible and trying new foods are life goals for Alex. Ultimately, he wants to run his own business, whether that be a design firm, clothing line, woodworking, or even a combination of them all.

Fun Fact: He is currently trying to create the perfect dot-grid notebook.

Welcome to the team, Alex!

Maria Galkina

Marketing Intern

Our newest marketing intern, Maria, grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia. At the moment, she is pursuing a degree in communications with a public relations concentration at Johnson University. Maria is joining Morris Creative Group for our blend of small-company style and large-agency standards. Her previous time spent with non-profits sparked her desire to gain experience in an agency setting while focusing on audience targeting and strategy analysis.

Outside of spending time at MCG, Maria enjoys jamming with friends, playing the keyboard and guitar. If she wants to grab a bite to eat at her favorite Knoxville restaurant, she’ll be at Stock and Barrel. Along with her great taste in restaurant choices, Maria has an appreciation for cinematography, and her favorite movie is Ocean’s Eleven. Maria would like to visit all 50 states.

Fun Fact: She’s visited 26 states!

Glad to have you, Maria!
