Introducing MCG’s Newest Interns: Katie and Molly

It goes without saying that we love working with our clients. But you know what? We might love working with our interns even more. Which is why we’re so excited to welcome two new faces to our agency this month. Meet Katie Truppo and Molly Vermillion, the newest MCG interns.

Katie Truppo, Design Intern

Katie Truppo grew up in Poolesville, Maryland, but migrated down south to pursue her bachelor of science in advertising with a double minor in psychology and business administration at the University of Tennessee. During her time with Morris, Katie hopes to grow her graphic design skills. Someday, Katie hopes to become an art director.

Outside the office, Katie enjoys photography, drinking margaritas, and working on her own graphic design projects. She also enjoys spending all her money on local art at Rala and petting everyone’s dog at Bearden Beer Market. Her favorite TV show is Veep and her favorite movie is Room. Katie’s favorite musician is Childish Gambino.

Fun Fact: During her sophomore year at UT, Katie had a job where her entire purpose was to make sure no one stood in front of the advertisements on the field in Neyland Stadium.

Molly Vermillion, Marketing Intern

Molly Vermillion is currently pursuing her bachelor of science in advertising with a minor in business administration at UT. She grew up not too far away in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. She chose to work for Morris because of the bond you can create by working closely with local clients. Eventually, Molly hopes to become a copywriter in downtown Chicago.

When she’s not at the office (or helping to organize Sex Week on campus), Molly enjoys writing, watching Netflix, and listening to Panic! at the Disco. Her favorite show is Brooklyn Nine-Nine and her favorite movie is Forest Gump. Her favorite place to be in Knoxville is The Golden Roast coffee shop and her favorite place to eat is Chaiyo’s.

Fun Fact: Molly didn’t learn how to ride a bike until she was 11 years old.
