Crye and Hairston Join Local Agency as Designer/Illustrators

Ashley Hairston is a graduate of the College of Art at Washington University in St. Louis, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications in 2006. With a focus in illustration, Ashley received the Mary Cowan Hartford Prize in Watercolor for her hand-painted thesis project and graduated with honors. She also spent the four years of her studies as a John B. Ervin Scholar, receiving a full-tuition scholarship and an annual stipend. Upon graduation from the university, Ashley returned to East Tennessee and began practicing freelance graphic design and illustration for individuals and organizations in both the Midwest and Southeast regions before joining Scripps Networks in 2007. A former intern of Morris Creative Group, Ashley brings her talents as an illustrator and graphic designer to the firm, as well as an enthusiasm for creating effective visual materials.
Originally from Chattanooga, Kellie Crye is currently a student at the University of Tennessee pursuing a Fine Arts degree. She is a senior in the Graphic Design program with minors in Business and Studio Art. A summer internship led her to Morris Creative Group where she is currently working as a designer during school. Her time at the university has allowed her to work as a student advisor for the Arts and Sciences Advising department, an ambassador for the UT Football and Baseball programs, and a designer at UT Creative Services.
