After renovating a campus apartment building, the client, Vols Equities, needed to build buzz and a brand around its new property.
Using the power of social media and a comprehensive marketing campaign, MCG guided Vols Equities to a successful branding and launching of The Tower at Morgan Hill, previously known as the Kingston Tower Apartments. The “Name the Tower”competition was created as a unique way to market to college students using tools they know and love. By building the campaign around social media and targeting the end-of-semester moving season, MCG helped the client receive tremendous traction in the marketplace. More than 1,100 people submitted ideas to the naming competition, plus the building had a remarkable 90 percent occupancy within its first two months. During the campaign, MCG was active in every capacity including the creation of posters, flyers, t-shirts, signage, web design, branding, photography, enewsletters, video commercials, plus social media promotion, strategy and interior design consultation.
