The most important component of Richmont’s brand is its web presence, which facilitates connection between students, staff and alumni. The site is maintained by Richmont staff using a customized open-source content management system. The main objective was to communicate a richness of tradition and human warmth that the previous name and brand simply did not carry across.
Through multiple “town hall” -style meetings, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews, we were able to dig deep within the personality of the institution and connect to its soul through its people. We worked alongside a steering committee comprised of students, staff, alumni, administrators and board members to lead a massive re-branding effort for the Atlanta and Chattanooga-based Psychological Studies Institute. We directed and executed the website design—information architecture consultation, visual design, hosting setup and coordination and consultation with third-party programming teams.
