Knoxville, TN (March 25, 2013) – The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Monday announced the schedule for the first round, best-of-three series in the 2013 President’s Cup Playoffs:
#4 Knoxville Ice Bears vs. #5 Columbus Cottonmouths
Game 1 – Friday, March 29 at Knoxville Civic Coliseum, 7:30 pm
Game 2 – Saturday, March 30 at Columbus, 7:30 pm
Game 3 – Sunday, March 31 at Knoxville Civic Coliseum, 7:30 pm (if necessary)
The Ice Bears are in pursuit of its league leading fourth SPHL President’s Cup. Fans are important to the team’s run, so come early and attend all of the playoff games. Kids 12 and under receive a free Silver Level ticket with a paid adult ticket.
The game will be a WHITEOUT, fans are encouraged to wear white. Limited edition “Our Town, Our Team, Our Time” white playoff t-shirts will be available for only $10. Fans are also encouraged to come to the Coliseum early and enjoy all the playoff festivities, including events prior to the game in the plaza. The events in the plaza are sponsored by Q93 and WATE.
